We identified and fixed an old bug in our updater (launcher). Every time the launcher applied a client update, the conf folder was completely wiped, including the clientoptions.json file, where your customizations are saved (hotkeys, interface settings, general options). As a result, every update reset these settings back to default, even for players who had been playing for a long time.
We've fixed this: the launcher now automatically preserves clientoptions.json during the update process, keeping your settings intact through future updates.
Important: our launcher does not have automatic self-updating, so the fix only takes effect once you download the new launcher version manually. To apply the fix, download the latest launcher version at https://tibiaot.org/?subtopic=downloads, replace the old launcher with the new one, and run the client update as usual. From then on, your settings will no longer be lost in future updates.
