I forget exactly the work around I did on my RP for this quest, but Melchior refuses to tell you the djinn word of greeting, making you unable to speak with the djinns ^-^

I completed it on Zoey, but I forget how I did it since I ran into the same issue where Melchior doesn't give the greeting....
On Masane (my knight) is the one that I am trying to do it on now :D
But no, the mission isn't completed ^_^

in mission 2 of the green djinn quest we were unable to obtain the tear from the fountains to progress the quest We tried both fountains, I even tried the ones on the floor above.

Then I tried to buy tears from Black Bert to see if that worked and it didnt :(
